For Everything There Is A Time Under The Sun

For everything there is a time, what a powerful four-letter word… We as humans get in a hurry and want it right now (whatever it is) and the Lord uses TIME to teach us patience and uses TIME to get us in the right place…

For Everything There Is A Time Under The Sun

A Time for Everything Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (MEV)
1 To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to gain, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time of war, and a time of peace.

As we read these few verses we learn there is a time for everything there is nothing left out. There is also something else here that is very important. Let us use the farmer as an example. It is that time of the year to plant, however, this year the farmer thinks it is time for a vacation so they go on a trip for a couple weeks. They return and he goes back to the normal practice of farming.

Now it is time to harvest the corn he gets ready and goes out into the field there is no corn to harvest. Why? There was a time to plant, however, he went on vacation. Verse 2 part B tells us there is a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted; He forgot the first part so the second part did not happen.

I had asked Gina back in 2014 to be an Admin for “The Prayer Outreach TPO and for Abounding Love Ministries ALMs” so I knew a little about her.  One day we were talking and she made a comment that I was saying things to her that dad had never said so she was going to start calling me dad and I said OK my daughter.  I love her like a dad would love or should love his daughter and yes sometimes I do type “my daughter”.  So, if you see it I will be addressing Gina…

Thus comes this story… Last May I turned 73 I was adopted and raised in western Kentucky and I wanted to go back home. We really back home just close. I started looking in a city outside of Memphis named Jackson. I was asking Gina about this place and that place because that is were she and Tony lives so I would ask and she would turn and ask Tony. He kept saying you do not want to live there or over there. It seemed the places I could afford was not a good place to live.

So we packed up and stored everything, and took off to Lawrenceburg TN. A couple Debbie and I knew had moved there, so that is where we went. April went then May came and went and then June and still we could not find a place. I get a message from Gina telling me that Tony wanted to talk to me. So, I call and we talk and we agreed on that on comming of weekend which would be the 4th of July weekend.  So, the next Saturday we drove to Jackson TN and meet Regina and Tony Austin.

I am learning giving and receiving honest and true love. Gina is one of the Admin in “Abounding Love Ministries Worldwide” a Facebook Group and “The Prayer Outreach”. Gina is like a daughter to me and I love her that way she is a sweetheart to Debbie and I and can not give enough to us. And in return we can not give enough to her…

What a day that was Debbie and I feel in love with Jackson TN and with Gina and Tony Austin… We were shown a little house that needed a little work and Debbie and I loved it instantly. It is on a highway and cars and trucks fly by. We don’t even notice the noise.

There was one small spot where mold had started to grow and I said I could fix that in a couple of hours. Guess what that couple of hours turned into a couple days that that turned into a couple weeks that turned into a couple months… However a lesson in time is being taught. This is our home Debbie and I both love it (even Stormy our Kitty Cat) loves it. It has turned into quiet a job. We have met a couple that has showed us love over and above normal love.

The house is now free and clean of mold and we are slowly getting it finished and will.  Now I am learning that I am not 33 or 43 and I cannot do what I used to do, however, it is coming along and I can see this beautiful little cottage to live in coming along. This whole story is about “A Time For Everything”…

Next we find in Ecclesiastes 3:15 (MEV) That which is has already been, and what is to come has also already been; and God seeks out what has been driven away. My life has been a roll-a-coaster ride for the most part however, God had a plan and all the parts had to play their parts for it to work. Trust me when I say “There Is A Time for Everything”. I have and am learning patients, I am learning true and honest love…

Why did Regina and Tony Austin and Debbie and Jym Wells come together. God has a plan and as long as we stay out of his way everything will work out. Well the story is not over yet LoL! Debbie and I went on an adventure and got lost so we turned our GPS on. We were on a highway and it was in farm land for I had just commented on this gigantic barn, when it came a down pour of rain.

In Tennessee that is when the roads are the worst because of the oil from the tar and the tires. We started around a curve and lost control and ended up in a soy been field upside down. Neither one of us were injured badly only a few scraps and bruises… The car was a total loss, however, we are OK both of us walked away with a few scraps and scratches.

I wrote this article for two reasons. One we wished to say thank you to Regina and Tony Austin and two I wanted others to read about and, I hope to see, what true and honest love really is… Gina has said she does not see how I can not get angry, upset or just give up on the house. Me either however with God all things are possible…

With Tony there is not words for me to say, thank you does not seem efficient enough. He is the person that anyone would love to have as a friend and there is nothing I would not do for him and I do mean nothing… Being honest now, most of this has been written with tears in my eyes… That is the love I feel and pray can and will give back to these two great people…

Ecclesiastes 3:17 (MEV) 17 I thought in my heart:
God will bring judgment to the righteous and the wicked, for there is an appropriate time for every matter and deed. And then I will finish with Ecclesiastes 3:22 (MEV) So I saw that there is nothing better than that a man should rejoice in his labor, for that is his reward. For who will bring him to see what will happen after his life?

Thank you Tony and Regina Austin for the love you have shown and given us and thank You Lord for putting our paths together so that I might learn what true love is. In Jesus Christ’s precious and sweet name I pray—AMEN…
