Speaking to please God, that is a strong statement in today’s time there are some churches that are worried about pleasing man and not God. The blood of Jesus is not spoken nor an Alter call is done not even talked about…

Speaking To Please God Not Man To Make Disciples

1 Thessalonians 2:3-6 (MEV) 3 For our exhortation was not from deceit, nor from uncleanness, nor in guile. 4 But as we were allowed by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so, we speak, not to please men, but God, who examines our hearts. 5 For neither at any time did we come with flattering words, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed. God is our witness. 6 Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, even though we might have made demands as the apostles of Christ.

We need to get a lot of things out in the open and fixed. There is only one way to Heaven. Not my opinion it is all Jesus’ we find it in John 14:6 He is the way there is no other way. We are told in Matthew 28:18-20 we are to make disciples.

The quote-unquote church is a filling station for the body of Christ. We go out and tell everyone we see about God and His love for us about Jesus and His love for us. Then we go to that building and get filled up on Wednesday evening. OH, wait a minute that has been canceled because people need to rest from work. So, we go on Sunday morning and get filled up to go out. There is no need now for Sunday evening service because we got all we need Sunday morning.

We hear the reason for not having Wednesday evening or Sunday evening because of the low attendance. Could that be because the Pastor is not preaching the truth and is more interested in money than the word… Hebrews 10:25 speaks of this. This is one of the commandments of scripture. However, lately, there have been people who call themselves Christians and have no desire to have regular fellowship with other believers, whether that be in an established church. Christian fellowship is one of the signs of a true believer as we see in 1 John 1:7.

I could go on forever about this and maybe one day I will speak more about it. However, to please God is very important to me I am not a Christian to please man. God is my purpose, my reason and the truth for according to John 8:31-32 speaking the truth will set one free…

Memory Verse November 1, 2017

John 8:32 (MEV) You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
