Morning Prayer For 07/21/2018

My my, here we are in the 7th month of 2018 and it seems like it was January yesterday. It is true that time flies when you get older and the older you get the faster it goes. I wish I could grow in wisdom as fast as the days pass if I did I would be one smart man (LoL).

We go through our days and might pray and then again might not. I found a long time ago that I should not wait for something bad to happen to pray, but that praying is something we should do on a regular basis. We eat, we take our meds, we complain, but we will go without praying until we need something then we pray and expect an answer right now. Treating our Father as if he was a sugar daddy… He is not, He does not just hang around to meet one’s needs. Yes, He does that however, He desires to be our Best Friend, our Father, Our Lord and yes at times or Daddy.

He loves us more than we love ourselves. How many of us would allow our child to go through what Jesus went through for people that might not even choose to accept Him as Lord and Savior? Not many of us, if any, would do that for people we know much less for people we do not know or those not even born yet. Stop right here right now and picture that bloody, beaten, nail scared body… Picture Him looking down at YOU and saying I did this all for YOU! He did, He took all they dished out for YOU. When He stepped out of that tomb our enemy, the defeated one was defeated. He has no power over us anymore only what we allow him to have.

My prayer today is that we wake up and stand up and kick the enemy out of our lives and start living for the Lord understanding what he did for us out of unselfish, unconditional love. He did not do anything because He had to He did it all out of total LOVE!!!

Zephaniah 3:17 (MEV) The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One, who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will renew you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

John 3:16-17 (MEV) 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 5:6-8 (MEV) 6 While we were yet weak, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Rarely for a righteous man will one die. Yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God,[a] who loved me and gave Himself for me.
1 John 3:1 (MEV) Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
1 John 4:7-8 (MEV) 7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Romans 8:37-39 (MEV) 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come, 39 neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jeremiah 31:3 (MEV) 3 The Lord has appeared to him from afar, saying:
Indeed, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness, I have drawn you.
Psalm 86:14-16 (MEV) 14 O God, insolent men have risen against me, and bands of violent men have sought my life; they have not set You before them. 15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy and truth. 16 Turn to me and have mercy on me; give Your strength to Your servant, and save the humble son of Your female servant.
1 Peter 5:6-7 (MEV) 6 Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. 7 Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.
Ephesians 2:4-7 (MEV) 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in sins, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and He raised us up and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:13-18 (MEV) 13 We know that we live in Him, and He in us because He has given us His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him, and he in God. 16 And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, God’s love is perfected in us, so that we may have boldness on the Day of Judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears is not perfect in love.

My prayer today is that each one of us grows in the love of our Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. That we grasp the love that our Father as for us and that we share that love with others. In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior–AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
