Morning Prayer For 07/24/2018

This day is going to be a blessed day more than others for what I have laid before me to do. My dad died in 1967 and I said I would never do any concrete work anymore. Well here it is 2018 and today I am doing concrete work… A Friend a very good and special friend needed some concrete work done so he could use his front porch. He is learning to walk again and needs an easy access to the home.
In the last year, we (Debbie and I) have seen and found a new meaning for the word love and how it is used. We have made friends with a couple that loves without limits that reach out and help without asking for anything in return. They give out of love and help out of love. This past year has been a year of learning for me I have had to do nothing for the love of these two. They give without looking for a return they love out of bounds, they ask for nothing in return, and so, in turn, it makes me want to give back.
We can probably never repay them for what they have done this past year. After our car wreck, we have been without transportation and they have taken us wherever we have needed to go and in a lot of cases where we wanted to go. They have never said no, and I wish to thank them and thank the Lord for them. I pray that everyone one finds a friend like we are blessed with. I pray that we can show the kind of love that we have been shown and given.

Hebrews 12:1-3 (AMP) 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of [a]witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, 2 [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, [b]disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].
3 Just consider and meditate on Him who endured from sinners such bitter hostility against Himself [consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Let us look to Jesus, the Example, and use Him for our way of living today… Looking at Him for everything in our lives. Not doubting. Let us learn and practice living by FAITH!

Hebrews 3:1-2 (MEV) 1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers in a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Jesus Christ, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses was faithful in all His house.
Hebrews 11:1 (MEV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
1 John 1:9 (MEV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (MEV) But as it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (MEV) 16 For this reason, we do not lose heart: Even though our outward man is perishing, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 Our light affliction, which lasts but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (MEV) For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Psalm 25:15 (MEV) My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He will lead my feet from the net.
Ephesians 1:3-4 (MEV) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love;
Isaiah 64:4 (MEV) For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.
Philippians 4:8 (MEV) Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.
Revelation 1:7 (MEV) Look! He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Hebrews 12:2-4 (MEV) 2 Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and your hearts give up.
4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed while striving against sin.

I pray today that we work harder at loving and less at what is wrong. Let us be what we have been called to be. Love is? I pray this prayer in the name of the Father,Son, and the Holy Spirit–AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
