Morning Prayer For 07/25/2018

Here we are again reaching out and praying that souls will be won for Jesus. I pray that we all have a chance to tell someone about Jesus and more than that I hope when the opportunity arises we take it.
Days come and days go and we have chances to show the love of our Father to the lost. The question is, do we? See if one is given the opportunity and does not take it then said person may not get another chance to hear about and accept Jesus. We all have those chances and I pray we learn to take them.
Our Father does things for a reason as does the enemy, the defeated one, we have choices placed before us daily by both and I wonder who we listen to? If one responds to, well if I talk to him or her about Jesus they are going to get mad at me and I will lose my friend. That one went tot he enemy. And on and no for we are challenged daily.
I remember watching NCIS and when Gibbs would give Tony a head slap. If God did that how busy would He be. For we walk right past chance after chance every day. However the door to the enemy is left cracked open and he slips in again. That person may not get another chance. I remember, when I first got saved, we went to an apartment complex to visit someone and they was not at home. I made the suggestion that we knock on the other doors. There where four apartments on each breezeway and an upstairs.
So without waiting I walked over and knocked on the next door neighbors door and she opened it. I told her my name and my trainers name and the church we were from. She smiled and invited us in, after taking a seat she told us her name and what came out next I will never forget. She said that she had seen other Christians knock on that persons door and when there was no answer they would just leave and she prayed that one would knock on her door and they did not.
She told us that we were the first that did. What came out next was awesome. I have been waiting to be told how to accept Jesus into my life and what I need to do… What would have happened if we had not knocked on that door. However we did and she accepted Jesus and came to church.
I also remember us knocking on a door and a black lady opened the door in a nightgown that one could see right through and we left a flier and walked away and my trainer said as we walked off, “if she had put on some clothes I would have witnessed to her.” I stopped dead in my tracks right there in her driveway looking at him and said; “well then you have the problem not her.” “If she was not saved and lost she did not know any better or maybe the enemy had her to open the door that way so we would not witness to her.” My question to him was “so who has the problem?”
Was I saying tell her to put on some clothes and we can tell her about Jesus… Or was I saying tell her about Jesus right there and let her decide about her clothing. I think the later was answer. When we went down on Saturday night and witnessed to the street walkers there were no requirements about dress or language, just Jesus and Him crucified…
We all need to learn to walk through those opened doors and do it with Jesus not the enemy…

Matthew 24:9-14 (MEV) 9 “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many. 12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Acts 1:7-8 (MEV) 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or the dates, which the Father has fixed by His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 4:18-20 (MEV) 18 Then they called them and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. 20 For we cannot help but declare what we have seen and heard.”
Acts 22:14-16 (MEV) 14 “Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Just One and to hear His voice, 15 for you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now why do you wait? Rise, be baptized and wash away your sins, and call on the name of the Lord.’
Acts 5:29-32 (MEV) 29 Peter and the other apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging on a tree. 31 God exalted this Man to His right hand to be a Ruler and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 We are His witnesses to these words, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
1 Peter 3:13-15 (MEV) 13 Who is he who will harm you if you follow that which is good? 14 But even if you suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. “Do not be afraid of their terror, do not be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and fear.
2 Peter 3:9 (MEV) The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
Romans 1:16 (MEV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Mark 16:15-18 (MEV) 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved. But he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Matthew 5:15-16 (MEV) 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Isaiah 43:10 (MEV) You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.

Matthew 28:16-20 (MEV) 16 Then the eleven disciples went away to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him. But some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
