Prayer For Tuesday November 20, 2018

Prayer is about us talking to our Father, Jesus interceding for us and the Holy Spirit guiding us through it all. It is about thanking our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for showing us the way and lighting the way for us…

Prayer For Tuesday November 20, 2018

One day this life will be over and the past will be just that. I spend a bunch of time back there no matter how hard I try not to. Wishing I had it to do over and what I would change. Actually as bad and as hard as it was. If one thing in it was changed it would have changed all of it. I am truly sorry for things in the past however looking back there are things that are in my life that I am thankful for.
I now have a chance to be a better man. To say and do things that I have not done and to be thankful for things and for people in my life now. For example there is a couple that started out in my life about 4 years ago. The wife in this couple became a part of ALMs and TPO.
Then I asked her to be an Admin and our friendship grew. Debbie and I moved 1400 miles to Tennessee and finally settled were we are now. And this couple have become like our family. I love them both the way I pray I can love those that have not been in my life.
I am sure this all sounds like “Do what” however there are things in my past that I did that was not right, there was a lot of hurt in my past and a lot of love lost in the search of something better.
All I can say is I am sorry it ever happened and I am hopeful that a lot of it can be fixed and that I will be forgiven for the messes I made and caused. I can not go back and fix nothing however I can turn the page and learn from my past and move forward.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I started playing the guitar when I was 14 or 15 and got in my first band at about 16 we were a garage band and did play for the prom party in our high school. Then I quit school and started playing leaving home and traveling. This is the part I keep looking back at and wishing it had been different. However now is what is going to be different.
As I pray I am asking our Father to help me get back in shape and let me sing for the Lord. I know it is late in my life and I know it is not going to be easy however I am going to work at it and with the prayers of these groups and my Fathers help I will do it.
My first challenge will be the Christmas play at our church I am going to sing in it.
So now you all have something to pray about with all your other things. Please pray that the voice the vocal cords grow strong fast and that our Father will be proud of what I do for Him in this Christmas program. To Him be all the glory, honor and praise… I am nothing without Him and if He is not in it then I do not want to do it… Please pray with me and for me…

Isaiah 43:1-3 (MEV)

1 But now, thus says the Lord who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. 2 When you pass through waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle on you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (MEV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9 not of works, so that no one should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we should walk in them.

Isaiah 18:7 (MEV)

In that time a present shall be brought to the Lord of Hosts from a people tall and smooth, and from a people feared far and wide, a nation strong and oppressive, whose land the rivers have divided, to the place of the name of the Lord of Hosts, even Mount Zion.

Psalm 109:26-27 (MEV)

26 Help me, O Lord my God! Save me according to Your mercy, 27 that they may know that this is by Your hand, that You, O Lord, have done it.

Luke 11:9-10 (MEV)

9 “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Thank you and advance for your prayers and may this be the way to supply all of the needs for our home and for this Ministry. I ask this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior–AMEN!
