Morning Prayer For Sunday January 20, 2019

Prayer for today is that we all grow closer to our Lord. Praying that we turn back to our Father and all that he has done for us. Praying that we stand together as God Fearing, Jesus Loving Christians. Two words not found in the Bible DENOMINATION AND RETIREMENT.

Denominations were invented by man not our Father. Man has taken the Bible apart book by book, chapter by chapter and word by word. Trying to be smarter then God and adding there on thoughts to it. We have pictures of crosses with Jesus hanging on them there are statues of a woman holding a baby.

Well He is not still on a cross and He is not still in His mothers arms. He grew up carried a cross to Calvary. Was put to rest in a borrowed tomb and 3 days later he got up and walked out of that tomb. And is now sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for us…

He left us a comforter called the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, whatever name one is more comfortable with however He is here guiding and leading us. And it is about time that we start listening. Getting to Heaven is were we want to end up and there is only one way.

The shed blood of Jesus Christ there are approximately 35,000 denominations and not one of them have it all right. The one I love the most is the oxymoron The NON Denomination Denomination. What man will not do to try and change the scripture around to make it more appealing.

There is only one way to Heaven and that is through the shed blood of Jesus. Not through some denomination not through some Bible cemetery ( seminary) Not any man only one way to Heaven. The only one person that had and has it all right died on a cross at Calvary so we could go to Heaven and that was Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior.

Time for The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit to rule and stop all the man made garbage. If man has touched it, it is messed up. We hear the word revival we need a revival. Well let us have one it starts with each one of us.

A time of reawakened interest in religion. A meeting or series of meetings for the purpose of reawakening religious faith, often characterized by impassioned preaching and public testimony. Restoration to validity of something lapsed or set aside, such as a legal claim or status.

Well it is not a reawakening of a religion it is not meetings or series of meeting to reawaken religious faith. It is a movement of people getting rid of stuff and turning to the ONE and ONLY one and what He did and that one is JESUS! There is not one person on the face of this earth that has it all right. That is why Jesus died at Calvary on a Cross.

Without Him we have no hope, without Him we are all doomed, without Him all these expensive building are useless. Without Him there is not ONE preacher than can get anyone to HEAVEN. It is ALL about JESUS and it is about time that we realize and understand that and get off our hi-horse and get on our knees.

Quoting Scripture will not get one person to Heaven memorizing Scripture will not do the trick. Not drinking alcohol or not smoking will not do it. BELIEVING in what Jesus died for, BELIEVING who he is, BELIEVING He is the only true way by FAITH is the only answer. I am not the answer to salvation I am only a tool that our Father chose to use to tell others. I am not perfect, I am only a tool that reads and works at doing what I am lead to do by the Holy Spirit.

I am not wealthy, I struggle just like you do. I pray and hope for things just like you do. I have needs just like you. I even have wants and desires just like you do. Do I understand why God works the way He works, no. Do I have all the answers, no. Do I hurt, yes. Do I have needs yes…

The point here is let us come together as a part of a body of our Lord and let us work to get others saved and let our Father use us to build the body of Christ. Not having all the answers, probably not doing it all right all the time. However by Faith believing He will get us to the finish line…

2 Peter 1:5-8 (MEV) 5 For this reason make every effort to add virtue to your faith; and to your virtue, knowledge; 6 and to your knowledge, self-control; and to your self-control, patient endurance; and to your patient endurance, godliness; 7 and to your godliness, brotherly kindness; and to your brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if these things reside in you and abound, they ensure that you will neither be useless nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:4 (MEV) patience produces character, and character produces hope.
James 4:8 (MEV) Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (MEV) Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Look, all things have become new.

Philippians 4:8 (MEV) Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things.

My prayer today is that we be the light that we have been called to be and let the darkness be gone. Let us be the beacon of light that will deliver others out of the darkness into the light… In Jesus precious and wonderful name–AMEN!
