Come Out From Them And Be Separate!

Come out is what we are told to do for as a Christian this world is not your home. You are only passing through it. We need to separate ourselves from the thinking and being of this world and become who and what the Bible says we should be as Christians.

I am thinking of the passage Romans 7:14-16 (MEV) 14 We know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand, for I do not practice what I will to do, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 But if I practice what I do not will to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

Paul’s train of thought continues to the end of the chapter Romans 7:25 (MEV) I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then, with my mind, I serve the law of God, but with my flesh, the law of sin. Paul is talking about the constant battle between a Christian’s spiritual nature, and the will. The spiritual nature, which desires to unselfishly be and do good then we have the “will”, and the physical nature, which insists on pleasing itself [the flesh].

Let us now look at Matthew 26:41 (MEV) Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Our rehab is Jesus Christ and what he did for us our 6 steps are:

Well we have to be aware of what is going on around us and ready for what is going to come after us. We desire to do good however this-worldly flesh is like a drug and we are addicted to it. So we need to die of the flesh, stop with the drug.

Prayer…

We need to pray daily and be ready to pray at any time

Studying…

We need to read and study the word daily.

Attendance…

We need to find a good spirit filled Church.

Our Walk…

Needs to change.

Our Talk…

Needs to change.

Our Attitude…

“Greater is He that is in use than he that is in the world.

Well what I am saying is that it is time for us to really pick a side. there is no slipping into Heaven. No one can ride in on someone else’s coat-tail. One can not live two lives. We are either in or out, Heaven or hell, God or the enemy. There is no way to walk on both sides of the street, no fence setting.

I will end with this scripture. Isaiah 52:11 (MEV) 11 Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out of the midst of her; be clean, you who bear the vessels of the Lord. And 2 Corinthians 6:17 (MEV) Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” God bless and I do hope this is helpful in your walk.
