A Simple Question What Will Your Response Be

That sound like a loaded question doesn’t it? Well it could be, however, after reading 2 Corinthians 2:17, I feel it is a question that needs to be answered by us all.

2 Corinthians 2:17 (NKJV) For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

The Television is full of those who claim to be Christians. Some have left to work in a job for whatever reason. I have not been saved that long, but I remember when if the church doors are open it was full. Now days it is hard to get them in on Sunday morning.

So the preaching of the blood and hell seems to be a thing of the past, for it might insult some and we do not want to run anyone off. Well I do not wish to run anyone off, however, I do want them to hear the truth. I even heard one person say there has to be more than one way to Heaven.

Jesus answered that in John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

There are times when most, I feel, have struggled with finances, but God supplies every time. We may not have a lot of things, but we do have Jesus. Yes we struggle some and yes we have needs however you know He, Jesus, has never let us down. Unless I get in His way and yes I do from time to time.

I have been blessed more than most know and I believe that our Father will take care of us. There are a some that have been more than a blessing to Debbie and I. I do believe one day the reward will be in abundance. I am not the man I was just a few years ago and I wish all I had to do was sit here and write and bless others.

I am trying to finish this home so we can relax and live and I can spend more time in here. My strength is not what it used to be just a couple years ago. So I think that is what the devotional is about. I need some serious pray for strength to get this job finished. I am looking for some people to hold me up in prayer…

Give me the strength and wisdom to finish the job that I started 2 years ago and did not mean for it to take near this long. How many of you will pray every day for the strength that is needed for each day to get finished what I need to finish.

This is a simple request and pray that I do not give in with this battle we are in. That one day I can say as Paul said in, 2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV) I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. That is my desire…
