Paul, An Important Leaders of the Early Christians

Paul has been an inspiration to me as I grow in my Christian walk.  To read about him and what he went through and did, the good and the bad.  He paid dearly for his life before Jesus and through the rest of his life after salvation.  What he went through makes what I went through a walk in the park compairedto his life as a Christian…

Paul, An Important Leaders of the Early Christians

Titus 2:11-14 (MEV) 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and in godliness in this present world, 13 as we await the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.

Apostle Paul, was one of the most important leaders of early Christians.  He did understood that he was not the leader of the churches he founded, Jesus Christ was. Paul also understood that he would not be around forever, so in Titus, he instructs one of his protegé [probably a young man] on how to select church leaders. However I love these two verses from Paul, and they still hold true to this day. We do need to say NO to ungodliness this very day. You have read where I said we can not live with one foot with God and one foot in the world. As far back as Joshua 24:15 (MEV) If it is displeasing to you to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve, if it should be the gods your fathers served beyond the River or the gods of the Amorites’ land where you are now living. Yet as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” The people are asked to choose who they are going to serve. It is time to pick a side.

In Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.  No one is fooling God or a real Christian for we are told we can see how someone is walking by the way they act. In Matthew 12:33 (AMPC) Either make the tree sound (healthy and good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good), or make the tree rotten (diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (diseased and bad); for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit.

Then in Matthew 7:20 (MEV) Therefore, by their fruit you will know them.  By this scripture we see ones true self that is judging that is the world.  We will be known by our fruits…
