Morning Prayer For 08/22/2018

Good Morning visited a church last night that our Pastor is speaking in, in a revival for this week. He is speaking in the church he was saved in. Wow is the word that comes to mind as I think back. Where does a revival come from or start. Revival (Ecclesiastical Terms) a reawakening of faith or renewal of commitment to religion, an evangelistic meeting or service intended to effect such a reawakening in those present.
We, as Christians, need a reawakening we go through the steps we do the things we feel we need to do. Sunday Morning is full of people on the way to church in their “Sunday go to meeting clothes” I have not found that term in the bible either. However there is a big drop from Sunday morning to Sunday evening and some churches have done away with it. Then comes Wednesday evening service and more churches are doing away with that one as well.
Now I know some people can not drive at night and some are physically able to come however I feel that most are to busy to show up and that is a shame. We have time for Walmart we have time for fishing but we do not have time for God. And that is what the problem is for a majority of Christians. That makes me glad I am not God and a lot of others should be as well. I have been saved for 36 years and I have never been tired of Gods word.
I would love to see and out break of Christians and earth shaking people awakening revival. I would love to see a movement of God come through this country. I feel “Hell, Fire and Brimstone Preaching” is a lost talent. Afraid of running people off, afraid of offending those that give an offering. Last night was just that it was a wake up call to Christians it was what we are about. The topic at the restaurant was—are you ready for this—they did not take up and offering. Wow people complaining that they did not get to give!

Acts 2:1-4 (MEV) 1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 There appeared to them tongues as of fire, being distributed and resting on each of them, 4 and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.

Isaiah 57:15 (MEV)  For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
I dwell in the high and holy place and also with him who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
James 4:5-7 (MEV) 5 Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “He yearns jealously for the spirit that lives in us”? 6 But He gives more grace. For this reason it says:
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Proverbs 3:34 (MEV) Surely He scorns the scornful, but He gives favor to the humble.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (MEV) 16 So from now on we do not regard anyone according to the flesh. Yes, though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet we do not regard Him as such from now on. 17 Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Look, all things have become new.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (MEV) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 John 3:2 (MEV) Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
John 7:37 (MEV) On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.
Zechariah 4:6 (MEV) And he said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.
Habakkuk 3:2 (MEV) O Lord, I have heard the report of You, and was afraid;
O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of these years make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
2 Peter 3:9 (MEV) The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.

1 John 5:10-12 (MEV) 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has this witness in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he does not believe the testimony that God gave about His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life, and whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

It is time for the church to wake up and saving the lost at any cost. Let us give them life let us give them the truth. Let others see our Lord through us and in us. We are the LIGHT TO THE WORLD. In the precious name of Jesus our Christ our Lord our Savior–AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
