Morning Prayer For 09/02/2018

Here we are again, September 2,2018, Lord May 2 1944 seems so long ago and so much has passed. Sometimes I wonder if the good out weighs the bad. I know You forgave me April 24, 1982 and I became Your adopted son. I know and understand this however some times I find it hard for me to forgive me. I have caused so much hate and anger I have hurt ones that I should love and I have given it to You and I believe in Heaven and hell.
It is just some little something is said or done that brings it all back up again. I believe it is the enemy that causes it all to be brought back and sometimes it even causes tears. That is when it hurts the worse. I wish I could put the past in the past and close the door and it would be wiped clean. To never be thought of again. I know I am saved and I know I am working at doing what I am supposed to be doing.
I thought of a song this morning “Sometimes I Cry” if there is a song to describe me this one is it. If anyone reading this morning prayer that has never heard or listened to it find it on You Tubes by Jason Crabb. And really listen to the words. I do try to be strong for all of you and sometimes alone I do cry. Like right now…
I want to be strong for all of you and I do not wish to let you down. Then comes the enemy sticking his nose in and yes sometimes I hurt. None of you actually know how I feel about you. I am a 74 year old man that has a full plate and sometimes I feel alone in all of this and the load gets very heavy. I honestly don’t know if it is pride or our Father is the reason I do not or will not ask for help. I don’t know I just try to hold it all together and be what I feel you all need. If I do or have ever let anyone down I ask you to forgive me for I did not do it on purpose. I do try to be strong and yes sometimes alone I do cry…
