Morning Prayer For 0913/2018

Here we are again. Ready, willing and able to take a stand for our Father. I have a question and all I ask is you think about it. I really mean think about it and ask yourself a simple question. “What or who do others see when they look at you”…
That is a powerful question if you are honest with yourself. I hope when people look at me they see my Savior and my Lord. I hope they see a Bible believing Jesus loving Christian. The thought of the day is “You might just be the only Jesus someone sees before leaving this world”! Think about that when you walk past that person on the bench at the bus stop or in a park.
Do we really show the Love of Jesus to them. The cashier that is tired and hurting or the person with a cart full of groceries and it is hurting to even take a step. Do they see Jesus when they look at us?
Today’s world is in a hurry to get to here or there. If the speed limit is 45 they need to drive 55 or if it is 65 they need to drive 75. In a lot of cases the police even allow 10 miles over before they even think about stopping anyone.
Are we really in that big of a hurry? Or is it just life in general. When is the last time we stopped and called a friend just to say hi and ask how are you doing? When is the last time gentlemen that you held the door open for someone you don’t even know, or someone you did know?
As a Christian we are to be an example of Jesus to the world… What are we an example of? I am asking this because a gentleman doing a job and attending the same church shared a comment with me and I used Peter in and explanation to him. And yesterday he said he thought about what I said about it and now wishes he had just enjoyed the moment without getting bugged about the situation. I didn’t even want to change his opinion I just voiced mine and he heard what I said and that made him think about it. Did not say he changed his mind or his thoughts just that he thought about it. Think about how we effect others every day…

Matthew 6:1-4 (MEV) 1 “Be sure that you not do your charitable deeds before men to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
2 “Therefore, when you do your charitable deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do your charitable deeds, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deeds may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Matthew 5:16 (MEV) Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
1 John 3:2 (MEV) Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
1 John 3:17 (MEV) Whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, but closes his heart of compassion from him, how can the love of God remain in him?
Philippians 2:4 (MEV) Let each of you look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Ephesians 2:10 (MEV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we should walk in them.
Galatians 6:2 (MEV) Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
John 15:12 (MEV) This is My commandment: that you love one another, as I have loved you.
Matthew 7:12 (MEV) Therefore, everything you would like men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
James 1:13 (MEV) Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil; neither does He tempt anyone.
James 1:27 (MEV) Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

James 2:14-17 (MEV) 14 What does it profit, my brothers, if a man says he has faith but has no works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and lacking daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” and yet you give them nothing that the body needs, what does it profit? 17 So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.

Let us think about this when we are in to big of a hurry to stop and give a cashier a smile or hold the door for someone, or let the car go in front of you… Think on these things–AMEN!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And World it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Psalms 5:8 (MEV) Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before me.
