Morning Prayer For 10/13/2018

Well here we are again. It is a good day and our Father is still on His Throne. The last couple days I think I hit some nerves for did not see a lot of likes to the prayers and that is what usually happens when I do so. I hope it woke some up at least. It is time that Christians take their place in this society and stand up. Paul says in Ephesians 6:11 (MEV) Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Then in Ephesians 6:13 (MEV) Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. I think if we read this and understand it we then will understand why we need 2 Timothy 2:15 (MEV) Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We as Christians according to 1 Peter 2:9 (MEV) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Then we read in John 8:12 (MEV) Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

We are a light to a darkened world and it is time that we put new batteries in and start spreading the light. One can stand in total darkness and strike one small match and the light from that match can be seen the length of 3 football fields. That is 360 feet, just one small match. And we are a Beacon of light according to Matthew 5:14 (MEV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Philippians 2:14-15 (MEV) 14 Do all things without murmuring and disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and harmless, sons of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world.

Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

1 John 1:5 (MEV) This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
John 1:7 (MEV) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Psalm 27:1 (MEV) The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom will I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom will I be afraid?
Psalm 119:105 (MEV) Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Revelation 21:23 (MEV) The city has no need of sun or moon to shine in it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
James 1:17 (MEV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning.
1 Thessalonians 5:5 (MEV) You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness
Ephesians 5:8-10 (MEV) 8 For you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light— 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth— 10 proving what is pleasing to the Lord.

John 9:3-5 (MEV)  3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned. But it happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 I must do the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

I pray that today’s prayer spreads a little light on us today. I Jesus’ mighty name I do pray this prayer–AMEN!
