Morning Prayer For 10/17/2018

Blessings abounding comes from our Father, no one can out give our Lord. I can not put into words how blessed and loved we as Christians are. Yet we whine and cry of things that actually mean nothing just because we wanted something and did not get it. Every time I did not get what I have been asking for later I find out why and every time it was because it was harmful or useless and out of my Fathers well.
We are blessed more than we realize. I think I have talked about this before however have you ever got up to go to work or shopping or something like that and they car would not start or a flat tire? And we get all upset and angry, now I am going to be late to work or my appointment, it actually could be if you did not have the flat or dead battery you would not have made it there period. It was the Holy Spirit saving your life or saving you from a wreck.
Why do we always seem to look at the negative side of everything instead of thinking what was I saved from. You know I used to not get in the car without asking the Lord which way should I go or how should I do this or that. Some how I got away from it, but today I am starting back. There is not one step in our life that is not or should not be ordained (established or decided beyond dispute or doubt) by our Father.
We have a Father that loves us more than we love ourselves. We are so blessed and yet we complain over this or that. Sometimes even pout about it and get angry, do we even consider the fact that maybe it was not the best thing for us. So let us take a look at some scripture about loving…

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (MEV) 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love flaunts not itself and is not puffed up, 5 does not behave itself improperly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; 6 rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

John 3:16-18 (MEV) 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned. But he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 13:34 (MEV) “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 15:13 (MEV) Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends.
1 John 3:16-18 (MEV) 16 By this we know the love of God: that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 Whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, but closes his heart of compassion from him, how can the love of God remain in him? 18 My little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
1 John 4:7 (MEV) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
1 John 4:18 (MEV) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears is not perfect in love.
1 John 4:19 (MEV) We love Him because He first loved us.
1 John 4:20 (MEV) If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For whoever does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1 Peter 4:8 (MEV) Above all things, have unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.
Colossians 3:12-14 (MEV) 12 So embrace, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, a spirit of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, and longsuffering. 13 Bear with one another and forgive one another. If anyone has a quarrel against anyone, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do. 14 And above all these things, embrace love, which is the bond of perfection.

Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (MEV) 6 Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, passion fierce as the grave. Its fires of desire are as ardent flames, a most intense flame. 7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.
If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly condemned.

With that I will say–AMEN!

Spread the love
