Morning Prayer For 10/26/2018

I was just thinking about something that read this morning and I was thinking, through this life there is a lot of junk that I have been through and did. There is a lot of things that I did that I was not and am not proud of. There are things that kept me up nights and things that I sat and worried about.
Then one day when I was as far down as I could get, when I had drug my friends and family down in that hole with me and I could only look up. I saw someone I had never really thought much about and was not even sure He existed, looking down at me with a smile and reached out his hand and took mine and pulled me out of all that muck and mar and pulled me to Him and loved me right where I was at.
He held me close and assured me that everything was alright and that I was safe in His arms. He did not judge me or put me down He just loved me right were I was at. He made me an offer that I had never heard nor understood, He said if you will follow me I will set you free of all this world has given and done to you. My life has never been the same sense that day.
Have I done it all right? NO! Have I failed Him? More than I can count. The one thing I can say is I never stopped loving Him never and I have never forgot what He did for me. I pray that I could be the man I should be all the time. Have all the answers to all the questions I am asked. To know what to say just at the right time. How I wish I was what He wishes me to be. However He is the only one that never sinned, He is the one that always had the right thing to say or do. He is the only one that could stand and give His life so that I could know I am saved.
I have failed at many things and sometimes the enemy tries to make me think I have failed at this as well. When I get up every morning and come out here and sit in the cold writing these prayers, he says why do you do it no one is reading no one is listening no one cares—why don’t you just quit and stay in your nice warm bed? Well the reason is my Lord and Savior has me here doing this and if no one reads it or gets touched by it it is not my fault. It would be my fault if I did not do it and someone died not know Him that came here and did not see what I do then it would be my fault.
When I say “I Love You” it is not just some words that are to make someone feel good. They are words from my heart they are words that my Savior said to me one evening. I do not want anyone to be here for any other reason that Jesus… He is what this is all about we pray for others that need us we do not earn money for it we do it because prayer is needed. If someone thinks that being a part of this Ministry will get you to Heaven then you are here for the wrong reason. The only way to get to Heaven is confessing and believing by Faith that Jesus Christ is Lord for the only way to Heaven is through Him. So no guilt, no shame, just His Grace and our Faith. If one is not praying on a regular bases please try it and see what happens. I am glad I can sit here and write this prayer daily, trust me some who has been here from the beginning can tell you it has been a work in progress for 4 years. And is still a work in progress. So no excuses just pray from your heart and let our Lord put it out through you…

Psalm 90:14 (MEV) Satisfy us in the early morning with Your mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Mark 1:35 (MEV) In the morning, rising up a great while before sunrise, He went out and departed to a solitary place. And there He prayed.
Prayer is a good place to start our mornings it will set the tone for the day. Yes it works… In the wonderful and precious name of Jesus I pray this–AMEN!
