Morning Prayer For 10/28/2018

Where do I start? It is Sunday morning and I have rested well, not as much as I would like but well. There was a singing at our church last night to raise money for the postage of the Shoe Box Ministry. This is a Ministry where we pack stuff for kids around the world churches all over America are involved. I am not sure about who all is involved we moved here last year and was still trying to get settled and did not get to involved however this year we are and will be.
The pastor told a story that Melissa told about two plastic water bottles and some string. That was what they would make flip flop shoes out of. Then he told a story about a little girl that had shoes that were wore out the soles were gone basically but she wanted to go get the Shoe Box. So she got there got her Shoe Box went over and opened it and inside was a brand new pair of shoes her size. Now how can you not believe there is a God. That pair of shoes was bought in America put in a box with thousands of other boxes shipped halfway around the world and delivered to the little girl that needed them.
We serve an awesome God, He is waiting to hear from us. All of us not just a choice few but all of us. Can you imagine having children and they never speak to you except when they get in a spot or need something?
Our Father wants to here from us yes He wants to hear about our problems and He wants to help us. When is the last time you just bowed your head and thanked Him for getting you through another day or thanked Him for the little things that He does without you asking. When is the last time you just sat and talked to Him. He is the loving Father that will never leave us or forsake us.
I am an adopted child I was adopted at a very young age and raised by two loving and caring people. For years I was angry for my real parents did not want me. Then at 41 I met a man that was a Christian Psychologist and he listened to my story and then with a smile he opened his Bible and read me Ephesians 1:3-8. He said Jym your mother and dad walked in a room full of babies and picked you out for themselves you are truly chosen… I had never looked at it that way before and have always looked at it that way for that day to this day. So today is going to be about being chosen…

Ephesians 1:3-6 (MEV) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love; 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace which He graciously bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Deuteronomy 7:6 (MEV) For you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be His special people, treasured above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 14:2 (MEV) For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a peculiar people to Himself, treasured above all the nations that are on the earth.
1 Peter 2:9 (MEV) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
John 6:37 (MEV) All whom the Father gives Me will come to Me, and he who comes to Me I will never cast out.
John 6:44 (MEV) No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 (MEV) But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, beloved brothers of the Lord, because God has from the beginning called you to salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief of the truth.
John 10:4 (MEV) When he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them. And the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Matthew 22:14 (MEV) “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Romans 8:28 (MEV) We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:29-30 (MEV) 29 For those whom He foreknew, He predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified; and those whom He justified, He also glorified.

John 15:16 (MEV) You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name.
We are all chosen we have something to do and that is to bring our people home to the Father… I pray this all in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior–AMEN!
