Prayer For Sunday 11/11/2018
The prayer today is let us not be tempted by our enemy. Let us stand on our Solid Rock and by knowing His word we can withstand the fiery darts of the enemy…
Here we are again Lord… I wish to thank you for all the Blessing that you bestow on us each day. I wish to thank You for keep watch over us as we sleep and go about our daily chores. I thank You for the little things that You do that we don’t even see.
You are so very loving and caring for us all. Your word tells us how much You love us and care for us and I pray that we learn to draw closer to you and retreat farther away from our enemy. He is out to steal, kill and destroy our spirit and in some cases he is pulling it off. I pray each day that Christians grow stronger and deeper in love with You.
I pray that we, as Christians, become more in tune with the Holy Spirit and listen to His voice and deny the enemy and stop giving him so much credit. Some things, no most things we bring on ourselves and blame it on the enemy.
Yes he does put things in our path however if we know the word and understand it we will know what to do in that time and if it is the enemy Paul says when we have done all we can do put on the whole armor of God and then stand. We should not be blown around like a lost ship at sea.
We should be standing on the solid rock and our foundation is Your word. Knowing and using it is how we remove ourselves from the temptations of the world. Most thoughts that get us in trouble is less then 90 seconds long however if we are not grounded in Your word then that temptation is like bait on a hook and we are like the fish in the lake.
Temptation is not of You so let us understand and be ready at all times for the tricks of the enemy. Is there anyone that has ever heard the enemy tell them they were going to hell before they got saved? Is there anyone that has been told by the enemy how bad they are and unworthy of Your love before being born again?
No he does not talk to you if he has you he just keeps pilling it on so one is blinded from the truth. However once one accepts Jesus and what He did for us all. Then comes the words “you blew it now God is mad at you”. “You lost it God is finished with you, might as well give up he is done. That stuff is all lies from the enemy.
Today I pray that you give us all strength when the enemy comes at us to stop him in his tracks and bring forth Your Word and put him in his place…
