Prayer For Wednesday January 30, 2019

The Prayer this morning is my conversation with our Father. I am in search of what to say and do to wake people up. To get the point across that we need to stand up and be what we claim to be.

It is great to see so many getting involved in what we stand for. I do believe there is way to many relaxed about spreading the Gospel and the truth. Is the time short I do not know, I do know that we know not the time…

There are so many verses in the Bible about being ready. I know that we, as Christians, are the light to the world. We are to be an example of faith in our Father and His love for us… We are His love in the flesh. We are the example of His love. The question is ARE WE?

Reading Romans chapter 1, I was reading the definition of the Gospel Romans 1:16-17 (MEV) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Do we? Do we actually live by FAITH? Sometimes we are backed into a corner just to see what we will do our faith tested. To see if we are living by faith. Mine was tested with one of the biggest test I do believe. There was a financial need, it came down to do I trust Him or do I not.

I had no where to turn or go so there it was and then I almost blew it at the bank and the Holy Spirit had a talk with me and I had to humble myself and basically repent. What a lesson I had to learn and pass…

We may not always do it right but we are always a Christian and a Beacon in a darken world… And that beacon is a 24/7 beacon… Shining bright good or bad and there are many seeing it… Have you ever seen a singer or dancer in a spot light where they are in front and a mistake will shine right through. Well that is us as a Christian we are up on the stage and the world is the audience…

Good, bad, indifferent we are in the spot light. We are being watched and how we respond is what determines the outcome most of the time… See we sometimes think that we can say things that are scripture and it is OK. We can if we say it in love and that is the hard part sometimes.

Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

1 John 1:5 (MEV) This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
2 Corinthians 4:6 (MEV) 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:8-10 (MEV) 8 For you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light— 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth— 10 proving what is pleasing to the Lord.

1 Peter 2:7-9 (MEV) 7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious. But to those who are disobedient, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”[Psalm 118:22 (MEV) The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.] 8 and, “A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” [Isaiah 8:14 (MEV) 14 He shall become a sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.] They stumble because they are disobedient to the word, to which also they were appointed. 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Let us grow and learn not to be a stumbling stone to the world… Come from among them and be separate… In Jesus name I do pray this all–AMEN!
