Psalm 88:13 (NKJV) But to You I have cried out, O Lord, and in the morning my prayer comes before You.

Understanding the Will of Our Father

Have you ever cried out to the Lord and you felt like He is not listening? Did you ever feel like He is not hearing to you, it’s like He has turned His back to you and stopped listening to your prayers?

Proverbs 26:20 (NKJV) Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; and where there is no [gossip or slanderer]talebearer, strife ceases.

Could it be we stuck our nose where it should not be? Are we offering advise to one that will not listen? Or are we praying amiss and wanting an answer different from the one we have already received.

I think that is called HARD HEADEDNESS, we ask the same question in a different way hoping our Father will change His mind. So He has given us the answer by not responding, yes He does know what is best for us and does not wish us to be hurt or looking at other man made objects as our god.

Would you give your child a poisoness snake, or a loaded gun without teaching them about it first? Well I think sometimes He says no and it is not what we want to hear so we nag at Him until he turns away and does not answer anymore.

He will answer and He will not give us a rock when we ask for bread. He loves us and knows what is best for us and desires to protect us and I think sometimes He lets us have what we do not need just to show us it is not what we thought it was.

I know that sounds like double talk but what I am saying is He lets us go after something and capture it to find out that it is not at all what we thought it was. He loves us and does not wish us hurt but at the same time we have to learn to trust Him.

I am one of those hard heads myself, much better than I was, but sometimes I just do not listen. Getting the world out of our lives is a full time job for the enemy is waiting for us to leave a door open for him all the time.

Lord please teach us to listen and accept what You say or do. We know You love us and won’t the best for us, but someone us are hard headed and have to go through some things and cry out to learn about them and learn to trust You…

My prayer today is that we accept Your answers without questioning You and thank You for Your protection. I pray that we all grow today in WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, DISCERNMENT and KNOWLEDGE. I pray that today we learn and grow in Your love.

I pray today that we become more like You and understand without questioning, when we ask for something and do not get it. I pray that we learn to TRUST You in everything in our lives and I do pray this all in the Mighty and Wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior—AMEN!
