Prayer For Sunday January 13, 2019

Prayer for today is something that has been on my mind for a few days.  Last Sunday my computer went down and for the past week I was not writing I was thinking.  And this prayer is about it…

Well I am sort of back got a new laptop and Debbie is trying to get it all set up for me. I am sure it will take a day or two to get it up and running were I know were everything is. Now my coffee brewer is not working. So will have to go into the house to get me a cup.

I have heard it said that we give the enemy satan to much credit. Well the way I see it there is only two we can give credit to. God or satan again there is no in between, no half way, nor sort of. It is or it is not is all we have. So I know things wear out and in the few years I been here doing this we have gone through our share of problems and computers.

So I will say this again, satan you will not stop the word of my Father being spoken and every time you attack we will just return with more power and determination to do what we are called to do. I have had it will want-to-be people that try and turn things around. Yes sometimes some of us do get it wrong and blame the wrong one. However there is not another one there is only two choices.

God or satan! My God will never give me anything that there is not a way out of nor will he ever do anything that is evil. A good tree CAN NOT produce bad fruit nor CAN a bad tree produce good fruit. Again only two choices.

I was talking to a very close friend and she said she was listening someone who made a statement that made no sense. We give the enemy to much credit and my comment is who do we give unGodly thoughts to then? I have also heard it said that we should not try and bind satan or demand him to leave we should ask the Lord to do it.

Then what about the scripture that says what ever is bound on earth is bond in Heaven and whatever is loosed on here will be loosed in heaven. And further more I end all prayers with in Jesus name. Second what about if we say to that mountain (a big problem) be you cast into the sea it will be, IF WE BELIEVE.

We are told to study to show ourselves approved. We are to study memorize and know our Fathers word. We are told to understand the word and to use the word. If we BELIEVE we can ask anything in the name of our Lord and it will be given to us. The thing to remember if it is in His will. Sometimes we pray, the only word I can think of right now is, STUPID prayers, and God does answer them we just do not want to listen.

He answered NO… And the no was not because He is mean it is because it is not what one needs or desires. It is because it is not in His will for us to have it I think the word that was used is we prayed a miss.

There is only two ways to live a Godly life believing in what God did for us and what Jesus did for us and my question is what have we done for them? Our Father gave His only begotten Son, Jesus gave His life so the we might be saved. What have we GIVEN in return? Whining about God not answering our prayers. Or He is not listening or hearing. I think it is time to grow up. Pick a side and be it.

Colossians 3:22-24 (MEV)

22 Servants, obey your masters in all things according to the flesh, serving not only when they are watching, as the servants of men, but in singleness of heart, fearing God. 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.

Deuteronomy 13:4 (MEV) You must follow after the Lord your God, fear Him, and keep His commandments, obey His voice, and you must serve Him, and cling to Him.
Romans 12:1 (MEV) I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship.
Matthew 6:24 (MEV) “No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

1 Peter 2:7-10 (MEV)

7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious. But to those who are disobedient, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”[Psalm 118:22 (MEV) The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.]

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 10 In times past, you were not a people, but now you are the people of God. You had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Let us become and be ALL that our Father desires us to be and work toward the Home He has promised us one day… In the precious and wonderful name of Jesus our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ–AMEN!
