Prayer for today… First I know You Father are an all seeing, all caring, all loving, Father and I thank you for caring for me today. This has been a rough few days however I do know You are in control.
Forgive me when I mess up and help me stay strong in Your word and the Ministry You have given me to Shepherd. I pray for a vision for today that will help me and others through this day. I know I am not Perfect and as long as I am here on this earth I will not be, just forgiven.
I pray for insight into this day and understanding for what I am to do today. I pray for a blessing for this ministry and strength to be and do all that I am called to do. I pray that today we all grow closer to You and that we all learn to listen and hear that small voice of our Holy Spirit.
Lord I pray for my Pastor this day I pray for a quick and complete healing of His body. I pray for strength for him and Denise and Olivia I pray that they all come thought this and will have grown in You love. I ask that this all be an example of Your love for us all. I pray that Mickey will be the example he is to be through this.
I pray as I walk through this day that I am open and listening to Your instruction and that I am the example that You desire me to be. I pray today that I can be who is in Galatians 2:20 (MEV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
We, as Christians, are to be a light to the world. And I pray today that we be that light in all that we say and all that we do. This morning was not what it was to be the problems with me and with this new computer has tested me and I am sure I failed in some of the test and am going around that mountain again.
Here I stand Lord asking for forgiveness and asking what shall I do and how. Let me be that light that I am suppose to be and be the example I am called to be… We have a duty to be a light and it is time that we ALL become what You have called us all to be.
Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
1 John 1:5 (MEV) This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
2 Corinthians 4:6 (MEV) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:9 (MEV) But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may declare the goodness of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
John 8:12 (MEV) Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
We are to be the light to the world. Are we, are we working for Him or are we not? The facts are clear we are a Christian or we are not. There is no in the middle He is very clear about that we all have read Matthew 5:14-16 (MEV) 14 “You are the light of the world. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and money. We can not be light and dark we are one or the other. In the wonderful and precious name of Jesus I do pray–AMEN!
