Morning Prayer For Tuesday February 5, 2019

Morning Prayer is food for the soul. It is the light to see by and the map to direct us. As a Christian it is our GPS if we Stop, Pray and Listen. It will keep us out of trouble…

Yesterday was a good day of we did our shopping for the month and I had an experience that has not happened in some time. We do most of our food shopping at Walmart and Sam’s Club. So anyway we are in Sam’s and we are looking at potatoes and there is a gentleman there looking.

We started up a conversation about potatoes and he tells me he could eat about 3 of them right now only he can not have them because he has sugar diabetes. We talk a little more and he tells me he has stage 1 Colon Cancer and they are going to have to remove about 25% of his colon.

We talk a little more and I ask him if he knows the Lord and he responded that he did and that he prays, however, sometimes he thinks God is done with him because of things in his past. I saw and opening and took it, asking him about his salvation and when he received the Lord…

Then I quoted Hebrews 13:5, and John 10:10 and explained that all this negative junk is from the enemy. That he is a liar John 8:44. I asked him if the devil ever told him he was going to hell before he received the Lord. Knowing the answer I explained to him that the enemy does not want him to talk about the Lord so he feeds you all those lies.

I then asked him if I could pray for him and did so right there in the middle of Sam’s Club when I finished he said thank you I needed that and hugged me like a bear, LoL! God is so good. I told him that I had cancer and that I had open heart surgery and that God is not done with me or him. So give it all to Jesus and if those doubts pop up again to call me. Yes. I gave him the Ministry Card.

Man what a high. We went through there like a bullet then and got everything we were looking for. Has something to eat and headed home. My point of this all is we need to listen to the Holy Spirit and His directions for He knows and sees all. Be ready and willing to do what is needed and the reward is out standing…

Stop, Pray, and Listen

We are a tool in our Father’s tool box and He wants to use us to fix things like the doubt that gentleman was having. We need to be ready my new thing is SPL let us Stop, Pray, and Listen for directions. Then do and be what we are all called for.

Praying Is Very Important In Our Lives

I believe listening is just important. We receive instructions all the time the question is do we listen, do we accept, do we do? Jesus said John 14:25-27

John 14:25-27 (MEV) 25 “I have spoken these things to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. 27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (MEV) Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
John 14:26 (MEV) But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.
Ephesians 4:29-30 (MEV) 29 Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to the listeners. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you are sealed for the day of redemption.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (MEV) 16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy. And you are His temple.

Not A Temple, But THE Temple

Three times in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 we are referred to as THE temple and ending with HIS temple. I think if we go look in the mirror and repeat 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 we all will have a different outlook on life… I pray this all now in the precious and wonderful name of Jesus–AMEN!
