The First Thing We Must Do

Matthew 6:33 (MEV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.

I Pray I Does Not Go This Far To Get Our Attention

2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (MEV) 13 “When I shut up the heaven and there is no rain, or when I command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence on My people, 14 if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

So Let Us Confess

James 5:16 (MEV) Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.

We Have A Helper With Our Prayers

Romans 8:26-27 (MEV) 26 Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

If We Believe

Mark 11:24 (MEV) Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them.

Asking In His Will

1 John 5:14 (MEV) This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

What Is The Weapons Of Our Warfare

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (MEV) 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, 5 casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete.
