Taking A Stand And Letting The Lord Work

Taking a stand for Christianity, is it time yet to stop with all the who is right and who is wrong. The one thing I do know for sure is that non of us has it all right. Taking part of Galatians 2:21 If we can be saved by the Law then Jesus Christ died for nothing.

I think a big problem today is we want to believe we have the answer and we do not. Jesus is the answer not us, so believing in Him by faith will get us to Heaven not our works. If all the denominations in this would come together united I think we would see so much more of our Lord and what He did for us.

1 Corinthians 15:54 (NKJV) So when this corruptible has put on in-corruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Salvation is the answer. We must learn to trust our Lord in EVERYTHING, Accept Him and what He did at Calvary for us… Then I feel we can truly understand 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

I was remembering an old country song that rings so true to this statement it was called “Looking For Love” and one line in the song was, looking for love in all the wrong places… I feel that is what some are doing these days…

Then this line gets me as well. “I’ll bless the day I discover another heart… lookin’ for love–And yo came a knocking at my heart’s door! That is what happened the day I accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Savior.”

Lord I pray that we can find that feeling again, the one we had when we accepted You as our Savior and show us exactly what we need to be doing and how we need to do it… Lord I pray that you light our path and show us the way home. I now pray this all in the MIGHTY name of Jesus Christ—AMEN!
