The title is something we all need to ask ourselves. When a problem comes do we turn to God first our after everything else has failed. God is own our side all He desires is that we ask listen and do as we are instructed. That is where the quiet time comes in, be quiet and listen for that small still voice.

1 Chronicles 28:20 (NKJV) And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

As I started this devotional I thought of this scripture Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

I am full of scripture for this and am having a hard time choosing the right ones for this. David is telling Solomon what he should do and how. I think it is something we all should grab hold of. He is telling Solomon to be strong and courageous. As we have read over and over.

The first time I really grasp this phrase was in Joshua 1, in verses 6,7,9 God is telling Joshua to be this as well. He is saying trust in Me and I will see you through whatever you are going through. Do we? Do we actually trust Him to see us through all we are going through?

Do we believe what we read in Hebrews? Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Do we really believe this or do we just say it hoping it is true?

I sit here thinking back when I first got saved I believed what I heard and even then I questioned those around me about things they did and say. Then I slowly drifted away things were going sort of good and I was doing OK and the enemy slips in and here we go on a long hard ride.

The Lord let me wonder until I got in a place I realized what I had done. That is how I ended up here on Facebook with these Groups. It took a long time to reel me in however He was patient with me and let me figure it out. I still from time to time wonder off and the scripture that brings me back is Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

If there is a verse I need plastered everywhere that one is it. Tell you what take that verse go to the bathroom, turn on the light and stand in front of the mirror then quote or read it and then look in the mirror and ask yourself. Is the life I am now living really in the Son of God? Think about it!!

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD… This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.
