Is It a Joke or Is It Real

1 Corinthians 5:11 (NIV) But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister [ adelphos] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
[The Greek word for brother or sister adelphos refers here to a believer, whether man or woman, as part of God’s family]
I am going to take this for what it says, we are not to be hanging out with running around with these type of people we are Christians. I am not saying that one should not talk to or be around for who did Jesus talk to and go around however he did not move in with them are have a cook out and drink with them.
He went to them with a purpose. His purpose was to set them free from their bondage and tell them about His saving grace. How many of us have had a friend that we will not witness to because we are afraid it will make him or her mad. Then later they walk away and are gone out of our lives. All we can do now it hope someone else will meet them and tell them about the Lord.
We are the light of this world and it is time that we realize it and become that light. It is time that we start doing what the Bibles says and get them going in the right direction. We are all teachers and witnesses, I have said it before and will again. You are a witness if you do not say a word. You attitude, your speech. your walk, says who you are. Believe it or not we are being watched.
They are looking for a reason to say “See I knew it you are no different than me that Christianity thing is a joke. My question is” IS IT A JOKE OR IS IT REAL”. I pray that this will help others grow in who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them… God Bless.
