Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Well this makes it pretty clear that this is not a closet kind of love. It is not a play like game, nor is it a Sunday kind of love it is a 24/7 full-time walk and talk. There is no room for want to be Christians in fact in Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

I have heard message after message about sinner and saved about Christian and not Christian however in Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says that there are those who say they have done this and done that and He says 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

There are a large amount of people trying to do all they can to get to Heaven however they are missing the boat. That is what today’s Devotional is about let us look at one’s heart. Matthew 10:9-10 both talk about the heart. I know a lot of people who have all sorts of head knowledge about who God is and what He has done and what he will do and are willing to debate the Bible with any and all. Or they can tell you why they do what they do. However I never see any emotion from then, has anyone other than me ever wondered why. I can not talk to someone about getting saved without tearing up. I speak to a group and somewhere I will tear up why is that?

Well the one that wish to debate and argue and talk about or discuss the Bible have all sorts of head knowledge of the Bible however the door to the HEART is locked shut tight and is not open. How can I say that one might say well let us look at Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Jesus is standing at the door to your HEART and He is knocking wishing to enter your HEART not your brain, not your wallet, not you intellect YOUR HEART He desires that you accept Him in your HEART. For if you do so the debating the disagreeing will end. There is no think tank in your HEART there you will find LOVE, COMPASSION, HOPE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, there you will BELIEVE. That is why you read ~ believe in your heart ~ the heart one believes unto righteousness the mind is not mentioned there. However the HEART is big time.

Why do we have division in churches in people in the churches over stupid thing because the door to the HEART is locked Jesus is in the brain however He is standing at the door to your HEART and knocking and knocking and knocking and knocking waiting for YOU to unlock the door and let HIM in. It eves says “If anyone hears My voice and opens the DOOR, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” He wished to move in and live in you completely.

If you have not opened that door I pray that you will today open it and let Jesus in and then and only then will you find happiness and joy in the Lord. Watch all the debating and arguing and disagreeing go away and it all be replaced with LOVE… I hear you knocking however will you unlock the door and let Him in…
