Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, why what for one might say well if one reads James 4:10 we find the reason why–James 4:10 (NKJV) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. If we are humble before the Lord He will lift us up.

How can one be humble and stand boldly Hebrews 10:19 (NKJV) Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, let us look at the word humble and bold:
Humble: Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.

Bold: Fearless and daring; courageous, clear and distinct to the eye; conspicuous.
Strong or pronounced; prominent.

I think we can boldly stand before God as His child however being humble respecting Him for who He is do not mistake humbleness as weakness or cowardly, do not misunderstand boldness and demanding or being arrogant. We can be humble and bold at the same time. Again we need to know the word of God to be bold and we need to understand who God is and be humble—so now one can go before God humbly respecting Him for who He is and as a humble child as and you shall receive.
