A Fiery Furnace

Daniel 3:16-18 [NKJV] 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
This is what we need to learn. That our God is bigger than any King or any other god that someone might put before us. He is bigger than alcohol, drugs, anger, or even unstableness maybe doubting. He will see us through anything. There is nothing in the world that he will not walk through with us. If we have to go around a mountain He will walk around it with us. I do not care what it is we need to learn to give it to HIM. We need some Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego today.
We need to stand and say our God is bigger and stronger than your god [talking to our enemy] He will deliver us from you no matter what, there is nothing in this world that he will deliver us from. And if not we still will not worship your image that you have put up. Quoting Joshua 24:15 [NKJV] And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
I pray that today there are some of us that need to decide what side we are going to stand with, and take a stand and say no more if I have to walk through a fiery furnace my God will walk through it with me.
