A Gift

Mark 11:25   And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

We read here that we should not even pray if we have bitterness or anger in our hearts for anyone. Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door to blessings, I do believe. Bitterness will eat one alive. It is like a weed that is being fed and watered, it will grow and spread until it consumes ones whole life in one lets it grow. That weed of bitterness needs to be dug up by the roots and thrown in the fire.

One can not cut it down for it will grow back one must get the roots and the seeds of the bitterness and burn it up, destroy it completely. Then God can give you the blessings that are yours.

One of the hardest lessons I learned was on giving and receiving, when I studied blessings. There are basically two types of Christians there are givers and receivers. Receivers can only be happy when someone gives them something. Then there is the giver, he can be happy any time he wishes he just gives something to someone. However one can not out give God so when one gives he needs to be ready to receive for it is coming.

Have you ever tried to give something to some one and they will not take it. No matter what you as or do they refuse it. We what they are actually doing is refusing the giver a blessing by not taking the gift. So the next time you offer someone a gift and they say no use those words “By denying this gift you are denying me a blessing.” That is not a guilt trip type thing it truly is the truth.

A gift to you release holding bitterness toward anyone for it is denying yourself a blessing or blessings. By holding onto bitterness you are only cheating yourself out of Gods gifts.

Memory Verse for December 25, 2015

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And America it is time for us to BLESS GOD again…

Isaiah 46:4 (NKJV)  Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
