Appearing to Solomon in 2 Chronicles God is speaking a truth that seems to be forgotten in today’s world. What I am referring to is in verse 14 and I am not speaking of “humble themselves and pray and seek My face” I am talking about TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS this world is full of money hungry pretending to be Christians. And it is time for it to stop.

2 Chronicles 7:12-16 (MEV) 12 Then the Lord appeared to Solomon at night, and He said to Solomon, “I have heard your prayer, and I have chosen for Myself in this place a house of sacrifice.                                                                    13 “When I shut up the heaven and there is no rain, or when I command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence on My people, 14 if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer of this place. 16 So now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name be there continually. My eyes and heart will be there for all days.

I see scripture taken out of context over and over and over I do not believe that our Father is a Sugar Daddy and I do not believe we should try and use Him that way. Constantly praying and asking for one thing after the other than turning around and living in the world—then complaining He does not answer prayer… Not appearing to be a Christian.

Yes, He does if we read all of the scripture there is a requirement Romans 12:2 (MEV) Do not be CONFORMED to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect WILL of God.

Then ask and it will be given see we first must TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS… There are way too many people saying things out of context and using them for their own good that is why we read in 2 Timothy 2:15 (MEV) Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH…  So there must be a WRONGLY WAY ?   It is appearing to be the truth but, is it that is what we should be asking ourselves…

Nowhere in the Bible does it say go sit and listen and believe what is said totally as the truth. We need to read and study and know the word and using it right. Not distorted or changed in fact in Deuteronomy 4:2 (MEV) You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor shall you take anything from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. And in Revelation 22:18-19 (MEV) 18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life and out of the Holy City and out of the things which are written in this book.
