Ask, Seek, Knock It Actually Goes Just A Little Deeper

Ask, Seek, and Knock is that an open invitation and a guarantee that we ask anything of our Father He will jump up and give it to us? I don’t think so!

Matthew 7:7-8 (MEV) 7

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, it will be opened.

That sounds easy and good. Question is it is really that easy or are there some regulations to that. Let us look into this and see what we find…

Ask And It Will Be Given To You

There are a lot of people that have that part down pat. The asking part. There are some requirements that goes along with the asking.

Requirement For It To Happen

What one asks must be in our Father’s will. Sometimes we ask a miss, that is not His will for one to have or do. That is why we need to read and study to know His will…

Some have the asking down pat however asking for our Father to do His part is only 1/3 of the verse than comes the on praying to do their part

One Must Also SEEK

Looking for what one has asked for yes even reading the word and finding scripture to back up what one has asked for… Seeking a job one must start knocking doors sending in resumes etc.

One Must KNOCK

Knocking might be asking and asking and asking or it might be knocking on doors looking and seeking. Not going to find a job sitting in front of the TV I guarantee that an employer is not going to call you or come by and ask you. Unless they are a friend or someone knows you that has a job then yes that might happen. Most of the time though one has to go looking for what they are asking.

Studying the Bible and learning and knowing our Fathers will and praying for His will to be done on ones life is another way to receive an answer…
