The Battle Belongs To The Lord Our Savior
The battle is the Lords. David was facing a giant,Goliath we have a Goliath in our life same one David had is name is satan he is our enemy he is the defeated one. We need to stand up to him and take control of him and become a David.

Psalm 56:12-13 (NIRV) God, I have made promises to you. I will bring my thank offerings to you. 13 You have saved me from the darkness of death. You have kept me from tripping and falling. Now I can live with you in the light of life.
I am going to start. Starting my day out with this… I have made promises to You. “Today I live with You as the Light of Life. From this day on I read this and it touched deep in my soul. I will declare right off that my God is my peace, my strength, and my joy, In His love, I will abide. I am tired of Goliath bragging he is dead by a stone from Davids sling. Remembering these words as they echoed through the air, Who does he think he is!”
1 Samuel 17 (NIRV) Goliath is bringing shame on Israel. What will be done for the one who removes it? This Philistine isn’t even circumcised. He dares the armies of the living God to fight him. Who does he think he is?
This was not a soldier in the Israelite Army this is the words of a God Fearing young man named David. However, they are the same words that need to be heard today. He [our Goliath the enemy satan] is trying to bring shame to Christians. He dares Christians daily he laughs in our face. However, one little stone from one Brave young man and these world’s echo through the Valleys and the Mountains, let this word ring in our world today… Psalm 56:45-47 (NIRV) 45 David said to Goliath, “You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against. 46 This day the Lord will give me the victory over you. I’ll strike you down. I’ll cut your head off. This day I’ll feed the bodies of the Philistine army to the birds and wild animals. Then the whole world will know there is a God in Israel. 47 The Lord doesn’t rescue people by using a sword or a spear. And everyone here will know it. The battle belongs to the Lord. He will hand all of you over to us.”
OK here is the facts these battles we are in right now today, they belong to the Lord, not us. And if so then He will hand him over to us. There is no hope or maybe only HE WILL. We need an attitude adjustment we need to change some thinking.
1st STEP We need to pray and get TOTALLY right with the Lord. Let us get rid of all the old past junk we carry around. Why because when one accepted Jesus that old stuff was nailed to the cross with Jesus so one is carrying around dead weight that can not be fixed so lose it today.
2nd STEP Start praying positive prayers. This means one needs to know the word and what it says. One asks knowing what and why. No more hopes or if it is your will. You know Gods will and you also know the person. Would God have saved Goliath, yes I do believe he would have, however, when David picked up that 1st Rock [Jym’s words now] God says Goliath you need to change your way of thinking, David picks up the 2nd Rock Goliath time is running out. 3rd rock Goliath it is time to change, time is running out. 4th rock again God says come on now let us fix this mess and get right with me. 5th rock OH will you have made your choice! The End is near.
3rd STEP With positive prayers the person needs to understand this is not a game it is not a right now thing it is a permanent thing it is a new life and it is Gods will not my will that will be done, and it is on earth and in Heaven sgsin thr battle is the Lords.
Praying is an important think it is not a spare tire, something that you use when everything else fails I do believe we need we should pray all the time not just for help. It is a way of life good bad or indifferent we pray all the time. It is a change of attitude it is who we are and what we believe. We are in a war with an enemy that has a take no server attitude he had rather see one dead that saved. So there is no bargaining with him and anything he promises you will be a lie. He is not honest he does not deserve the time of day from a Christian he should not be talking to or listened to by a Christian period. So let us get up and get on our Armor and get in this real battle for our families, friends, enemies, strangers, Do what God has called us to do. Then watch God work in our lives we now can truly understand ask anything IN MY WILL and I will GIVE IT TO YOU.
There are 3 key words there. IN MY WILL how do you know they are in His will you have READ the Word, you KNOW the Word and you BELIEVE the Word. Then you will ask in his will pretty simple. There is no room for want to be Christians it is a LIFE changing experience and it is a read life changing experience, the battle is truly the Lords.
