Behold All Things Have Become New
Behold all things have become new. The old man is dead we are new creatures in Christ it is not me that lives. It is Jesus living through me. Thus BORN AGAIN we are as a baby and we must grow.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Last night I sat and worked on the devotional for today for nearly 2 hours and I went to add the memory verse and boom it was gone. I spent the next hour trying to find it even getting Debbie us to help. It can not be found. So maybe it was not what I was supposed to say. I listened to one Pastor on my computer last week then my Pastor, a different one that came to speak this past Sunday at our church. 2 different people 1 message.
So I give what I heard starting with 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV). Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. As I read this scripture some things just jumped out to me. First thing is A NEW CREATION so let us start here. NEW: Not old, recently born, built, or created not used by anyone else previously recently bought, something paid for. Next is CREATION: The act of making or producing something that did not exist before. The act of creating something. Next was OLD: having lived for many years,not young —used to talk about or ask about a person’s age, having a specified age. Then PASSED AWAY: To go out of existence to die.
So let us look at that verse again. I see this. When Jesus went to the Cross and died. And according to Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
We [the old man] died with Christ we were CRUCIFIED with Him. That old man who tried to live under the law is no longer here. So why do we keep trying to feed a dead soul, It is no longer here. When Jesus stepped out of that tomb in all His Glory we stepped out with Him, for it says it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me.
Question if the old man is dead and all has become new after accepting Jesus then why are we taught if you were an alcoholic always and alcoholic, once a drug addict always a drug addict, Once a sinner always a sinner. If that is so then according to Galatians 2:21 (NKJV) I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” So I will end this with a statement in Jyms language “if you are what you was then you ain’t what you are supposed to be”. The Old Man… is DEAD!

Well I CERTAINLY GLAD THIS OLD GIRL IS DEAD!!! SOMETIMES I LOOK BACK AND THINK I WAS SLIDING INTO HELL FAST. I JUST DIDN’T KNOW IT!! BUT I WAS MISERABLE. I NEVER HEARD ABOUT JESUS. I KNEW THERE WAS S GOD BUT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I THOUGH HE WAS SOMEONE UP THERE AS THEY CALLED IT. I KNEW THERE WAS A DEVIL TOO!! AND I DIDN’T WANT NO PART OF HIM EITHER!! SO I WENT ON FOLLOWING MY PARENTS DRINK AND HAVE A GOOD Time with my friends. That’s all I KNEW. I TOUGHT I ANT HURTING NOBODY SO I WAS OK. But I had a cousin praying for me and I DIDN’T KNOW IT. And when I got to the end on my rope VOICE TOLD ME TO CALL HER I HAD SEEN HER IN THE LIBRARY AND JUST LOOKING AT HER SAID WHAT is ABOUT HER SHE LOOKED SO DIFFERENT SO SHE WAS A DOG GROOMER SO SHE HAD A CARD SHE GAVE ME. SO I KEPT IT FOR 15 YEARS I WAS DEPRESSED AND HAD ANXIETY AND I WAS TIRED I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO MY BEDROOM AND NEVER COME OUT!!~ YEA RIGHT, I HAD A LITTLE GIRL TO RAISE AND THATS WHEN I HAD ALL I COULD TAKE THIS VOICE SAD GET THE CARD OUT OF YOUR PURSE AND GO CALL HER. THIS WAS ,15 years SINCE I SAY HER LAST I CALLED HER AND FOR 3 ,DAYS LATER I WAS IN MY BEDROOM AND A SPNG CAME ON THE RADIO AND SUDDENLY I COULDN’T MOVE. THIS SONG CAME ON AND THE WORDS WERE YOU DONT HAVE TO CARRY YOUR BURDENS ANY MORE THAT’S WHAT THIS ALTERS FOR. WHEN THE SONG WENT OFF I COULD MOVE. I WENT TO THE KITCHEN AND WENT TO THE FOOR AND CRIED OUT TO GOD I SAID PLEASE TAKE ALL THIS I CAN’T TAKE ANY MORE. SUDDENLY I FELT A HEAVY LOAD OFF ME AND I FELT SO GOOD JOY CAME OVER ME,, I HAD BEEN TALKING TO MY COUSIN FOR 3 DAYS AND GOD WAS OPENING MY EYES AND EARS, AND I FOUND OUT THE DEVIL WAS TRYING TO KILL ME!!! ALL THAT TIME!! OK SO I’M A NEW CREATION!! AMD SHE MINISTERED TO ME FOR YEARS SOAKING UP MY BIBLE LIKE A SPONGE!!, AND THE REST IS HISTORY UP TO NOW BUT WHEN I FOUND OUT ALL THAT TIME I WAS HAVING FUN IT REALLY WAS THE DEVIL TRYING TO KILL ME! I GOT SOME RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION and learned HOW TO USEhIT!! IM NEW A NEW CREATION A NEW PERSON I LOVEY NEW LIFE!! AND IM LOVING BEEN!! HELL AND AND BACK BUT WOULDN’T TRADE IT FOR THE WORLD NO AMOUNT OF MONEY!!! IT’S GOOD TO BE FREE!!
