Jude 1:3-4 (NIV) 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

As I read this in verse 4 the certain individuals I thought of Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. They are ungodly people playing Christian to pull others away.

They twist scripture and put thoughts and ideas in one’s mind to steal one away for ones Godly thinking and way. This is what is referred to in John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

For sure beware of unGodly people they come in and make one think they are for real they want to get involved and claim to be something they are not. So I think that is why we are told in Matthew 6:19 (NIV) That we should not store up Treasures here on earth where thieves could steal them we should store up treasures in Heaven where they can not be stolen Matthew 6:20 (NIV).

So I have a job to protect the Flock God has placed me over to teach and protect. To help each grow stronger and how to be rich in God and not in material things of this world. Matthew 6:19-20 (NIV) 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. So let us practice to Beware of Ungodly People.
