Philippians 3:8-11 (NKJV) 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
There are and was some serious decisions to be made from the day Christ walked out of that tomb. Time to wake up and stop worrying about things. We need to get busy with the work of our Lord. The old of excuses of I did not know will not work in Heaven. There are people around the world preaching and teaching God truths if you own a Bible that excuse is gone. If you have a 1980 Ford or a 2016 Ford and do not take care of it and put gas in it, you are going nowhere in it. The Bible is the gas for a Christian.
There was a story about and American Indian Chief, his tribe was right in the middle of where the government wanted to build a road and they went to talk to him. He said he would move if they would give him a new Cadillac, They agreed and sent one to him… Now it is 5 years later and the Senator that got him the Cadillac when by to see him about votes. Someone went to get him and he came into standing through the sunroof leading a team of horses pulling the Cadillac. The Senator asked him why he was using the horses to pull the Cadillac, for the keys are in the ignition and the tank was full of gas. He said no one taught me to drive it…
The Bible is the Cadillac and the teaching is the Gas the difference is we have attended church have gone to meeting from Evangelist. Then will go to Heaven and tell the Father we did not know, is not going to get one in the door. It is time to do what we are called to be doing…
