Christians We Are All Called We All Have A Purpose

Christians are called… If you are a born again person one that has accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Then I am speaking to you today. It is not up to someone else it is up to each of us. We all are called to pray, everyone of us. Yes we may have a calling on our lives. Yes we may be doing something… However we all are to pray!

2 Chronicles 7:13-16 (MEV) 13 “When I shut up the heaven and there is no rain, or when I command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence on My people, 14 if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer of this place. 16 So now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name be there continually. My eyes and heart will be there for all days.

Many people can quote 2 Chronicles 14 however that is a good one to know but so is 13. What if our Father shut up the Heaven and stopped the rain and turned the locusts loose. Would the heavens be flooded with prayers? I do not think the News Media would have the answer to what was going on.

Then I was reading on and found in 2 Chronicles 7:19-22 (MEV) 19 “But if the people turn aside and abandon My statutes and commandments that I have given to you, and you walk after and serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot them from My land that I have given to them; and the house that I have consecrated for My name, I will throw it from before Me and set it as a proverb and taunt among the peoples. 21 And even though this house was majestic, it will lie desolate before all who pass by it, and they will say, ‘Why did the Lord do such a thing to this land and this house?’ 22 Then they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers who brought them up from the land of Egypt, and they took hold of other gods and worshipped and served them; therefore He has brought on them all this disaster.”

Does this sound like America NOW. Has America abandoned God? They took the 10 commandments off the walls of the schools. They did away with Pledge of Allegiance. No more Bible reading in Home Room. They took prayer out of the schools. In the court room they have removed “So Help You God”. Even though we are told not to swear to anything. Have we abandoned God?

Has Christians sat by and let this happen it is not up to the preachers alone. It is not up to someone else! It is up to each of us as Christians. Why is sin running wild in the governments, because we, as Christians, are letting it. This is not a game if we fail it does not start over we have one shot at it then death and judgment. If you are reading this there goes that excuse of “I didn’t know” because as of right now you know.

Have we turned aside and abandoned our Fathers statues. Look around before you answer. Are you really ready to test God? Not me it is time for Christians to live up to their name. It is time for serious prayer…
