Christians Are We Really—Are We Believers–Who’s We Are

Christians is another word that has been thrown around to the point it has no meaning… However it is time that we wake up and become who’s we say we are. It is time that we become the light to the world. Let us look at the scriptures and get to work…

Christians Are We Really—Are We Believers--Who's We Are

A question is asked and I find the answer Three times. Twice in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament.

First Psalms 14:1-3

Psalm 14:1 (MEV) The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
Psalm 14:2 (MEV) The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
Psalm 14:3 (MEV) They all turn aside, together they become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.

Second Psalms 53:1-3

Psalm 53:1 (MEV) 1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abhorrent injustice; there is none who does good.
Psalm 53:2 (MEV) 2 God looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who have insight, who seek God.
Psalm 53:3 (MEV) 3 Every one of them has turned aside; they are altogether corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.

Third Romans 3:10-12

Romans:3-10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
Romans:3-11 There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks after God.
Romans:3-12 They have all turned aside; together they have become worthless; there is no one who does good,
no, not one.”

I think maybe we need to grasp what is being said here and take it to heart. What do you think.

Memory Verse September 1, 2018

Romans 3:9 (MEV) What then? Are we better than they? No, not at all. For we have already charged that both Jews and Gentiles are all under sin.
