Disgusted

I have not liked or posted anything today. I wrote my morning prayer. A devotional, then I went through and posted pictures that were posted on my time line… Now what I am going to say is I am disgusted.
I have lived through 7 Decades and in 2 Centuries, I think is the most prosperous time in history. I lived through 13 Presidents so far. I have seen 1 President shot [assassinated] one left office for illegal activity. 1 for sex in the White House I have seen the 1st space travel and a man on the moon. I have seen businesses come and go. I have seen people shot. I lived through outdoor toilets bathes in a galvanized bathtubs in the kitchen floor. I remember when my dad ran cold water into the house and we heated water on a wood burning cook stove. I remember natural gas starting I remember as a young boy digging ditches with my dad and running gas lines under houses I could hardly get under and some I had to dig the ditch for the gas lines in the ditch and my dad move the loose dirt in a bucket for places where there was no room to put the dirt outside the ditch. Yes I remember when.
I also remember the coal stove and I remember when I would go to the store for my mom with $2.00 get loaf of bread a 6 pack of 12 oz glass bottles of Pepsi and a quart of sweet milk for #1.86 and I got the 4 pennies to spend. I remember when I got married that when I got a two month job and was paid a $1.60 an hour for 48 hours a week. I remember when you went to the store and bought groceries with chase money. I remember when gas was as low as $0.21 a gallon and the high was $0.28 a gallon. I remember leaving my car at the filling station have the oil and filter changed, washed, and filled with gas and get change back out of a $5.00 bill. Now I will admit that my car was not on empty.
I remember the first house my mom and dad bought cost $2000.00 and my dad rebuilt the back two rooms and added an indoor bathroom. I remember when the kids would play a game called cops and robbers while the mothers and dads sat out in the yard and talked and laughed. I remember us getting together on Saturday and watching wrestling and roller derby on Saturday night. There were 8 house on our block and 6 of the families where there watching.
I remember 9/11/2001 I remember when being proud to be an American was the thing to be. I remember these wars:
World War Two (1941-1945)
The Korean War (1950-1953)
The Vietnam War (1965-1975)
The Persian Gulf War (1990-1991)
The Afghanistan War (Obama pulled us out)
The Iraq War (2003-Obama pulled us out)
I remember when being an American soldier was someone who was respected. When the world feared and respected America.
I remember with these groups were proud and people could not wait to pray. I remember when I read every post and I liked every post. I still read them and like them and yes I do miss some. However I am guilty as well of typing PRAYING and moving on. Then I forget to write it down and don’t. I am making a change today I have a book laying here right next to me to right down the prayer request. Now I can use the excuse that I have a lot to do and I am leaving this up to the Admin and that is nothing more than a cop-out. Yes I have a lot to do and yes I am busy and at sometimes I sit and go through both sites at midnight. There is no excuse. If I write them down as say I am praying I will be praying every morning before I type a world in Facebook or on a website. I will be praying for the ones I promised to pray for. I am going to work on praying right then and there on prayer request. I am going to start spending more time doing what I have been called to do and hope to get some others writing articles as well for the website and hope to get others involved in commenting.
I know people work and are busy however we have 474 members on TPO and 207 on ALMs and there are less than a 125 that simply click the like button. I know that God has given each one of us a job a calling and it is up to us to do it… I AM NOT TALKING TO THE ONES THAT ARE DOING IT I am talking to the ones that are here for what ever reason. No one is going to Heaven on another coat-tail. No one is going to slip into Heaven, we all are going to walk in. If anyone has honestly and truly accepted Jesus can not just sit and watch and not get involved. There is nothing that we HAVE to do however if you honestly and truly love one want to do thing that will bring the lost home.
Christians around the world are being killed. I should say, slaughtered, and we are too busy to pray for them. I have a list I started months ago asking for people to pray for our country and its leaders one day a month right now out of 31 days I have two-thirds empty. I would pray however I am really busy doing this or that or this and that. I want everyone to understand that when you come up with that weak excuse that the only person that is being fooled is the one making the statement. For what you are saying is I am to busy to take time to pray to our Father for others.
If I sound angry I am– I am angry at the defeated one for lying to you and angry at the person for listening to him. I desire to see God working in our lives, all of us not just a few of us ALL of us. I want us all to stop listening to a LIAR God defeated him a long time ago. He kicked him out of heaven and Jesus warned us about him over and over. So I have one question and you can answer it by typing I’m In as a response to this article. This will let everyone see who is in and those that do not read it or do not type it are saying “I don’t have time, I am to busy for God to use me. Or the worst one I don’t care. Just think about it then tell me I am wrong.
