Do we actually read and understand the Bible? Do we believe our Lord or do we hope it is true? I was thinking and found this verses and I see a promise and a blessing here for us to hold on to to start a new year with…

Nahum 1:15 (NKJV) Behold, on the mountains the feet of Him who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, perform your vows. for the wicked one shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

In Nahum we read a promise if we stay and believe, as we should, the wicked one [the enemy] shall be cut off. Then is Isaiah a promise that our Father will hold us up with His righteous right hand.

Then I had a thought who is at His right hand? Matthew 26:64, Mark 14:62, Colossians 3:1, in these three scriptures we find Jesus setting at our Fathers right hand… So what are we worried about or doubt. Jesus will watch over and take care of us…

I want to end with this thought and statement the world is going crazy with shooting, child abuse and sex, drugs and shootings then we read in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (NKJV) 13 When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

My question today is “IS IT TIME TO GET ON OUR KNEES AND PRAY AND BELIEVE?” Do we believe the scripture or do we not?

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…  This Ministry is supported with and by your love offerings, please consider helping us to spread the Gospel around the world.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Spread the love
