Respect Encouragement Prayer And Supplication

Respect and encouragement as a young preacher. In 1 Timothy, Paul starts out, from the very first words; giving those to Timothy. Paul the experience and aged Apostle writes to the young pastor Timothy who is facing a heavy burden in the church of Ephesus.

The task is challenging, false doctrine must be erased, public worship safeguarded, an a mature leadership developed. In addition to the conduct of the church, Paul talks about the conduct of the Minister. Timothy must be on his guard left his young youthfulness become a liability, rather than and assets to the gospel. He must be careful to avoid false teachers, & greedy motives, pursuing instead righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, perseverance & the gentleness that benefits a man of God.
Paul was writing this to Timothy, because he was guided by GOD.

Meditating on God’s word, for everything is beneficial to our faith. We see in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV) 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Praying without ceasing keeps satan from being able to attack you. If you have God on your mind at all times satan cannot get your attention to put bad thoughts or ideas upon you. The more you do this, the weaker we make satan, and the stronger we become in our face.
We must pray for one another as we read in Ephesians 6:18-19 (ESV) 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,

If we will respect and encourage one another with prayer and supplication, We are reaching out to God for others to help them grow in the Love of our Lord in all things

Memory Verse for March 4, 2016
