Faith is a very big word that we, as Christians, should hang onto for that is our breath. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9 not of works, so that no one should boast.

Hebrews 11:17-18 (MEV) 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. 18 Of him God said, “Through Isaac shall your seed be named.”

This temptation or trial was from God our Father. I believe it is the ultimate test of Abraham’s FAITH.
The Offering Of Issac By Abraham
As soon as Abraham got this commandment He left to prepare for the sacrifice. He did not doubt our Father, leaving on the journey to do it. He did not doubt God for even when they left the 2 young men with the donkey. Issac asked “Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
Abraham’s Faith Shows Through
Genesis 22:8 Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.
As Abraham Proceeded To Make The Sacrifice
Genesis 22:10 Then Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
Again The Faith Of Abraham Shows Through
Genesis 1:12 Then He said, “Do not lay your hands on the boy or do anything to him, because now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your only son
