Prayer for us today… Gosh I look at that date and wonder what lays waiting for me to do. I cannot help but wonder what our Father has for me to do this year. Then I stopped and thought about today for that is what is on my plate, “the right now”. I want to know what is right now.
Prayer For Saturday Morning January 5, 2019
Yes I did make one resolution this year. “I am not going to spend time back in the past” that is all gone and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ my Savior. So the past is just that it is gone, over, finished. I am going to work on thinking about TODAY…
Lord, please help me become all that You desire me to be. Help me to understand. I know what I like however what I do is up to You. You have given me an assignment and I am asking for it to be clear to me. I know one thing for sure it is not about the past.
Father, we have a mission right here right now. I sit here day in and day out, telling others what You are showing me. And to be honest wonder if I am getting through. I am only human and I know the gain is Yours however I do wonder if I am getting across what You desire me to do.
I am sitting and see what this country is turning into. And I know what the Declaration of Independence says. I also know what You say about what we are to do. I also know there is a right way and a wrong way. I feel our founding fathers are rolling over it there graves, seeing what is going on.
There is a right way and a wrong way and this United States of America is turning into a joke. There is a legal way and an illegal way. A Godly way and an ungodly way, and this government is leaning to the ungodly way. I am talking about our Congress they do not care about “We The People” they care about getting richer and staying in office.
Lord so me the Godly way to get Your word to the people. So me the Godly way to be what needs to be. I believe what needs to happen is the Godly men and women of this country. Needs to stand up put on their God’s Armor and take back our government and our country.
There is no such thing as a free anything in this world someone pays for it all. The only thing that is quote unquote free is salvation and that is not free it cost one who excepts it everything. When one become a Christian… Old things pass away ALL things become new. My question is HAVE THEY all become new?
People today have torn You word up have taken it, supposedly became a Christian and have no idea what being a Christian is. They sit in a building called a church and do not even understand that the building is not THE CHURCH “We The People” are the Church.
It is not about how big and how beautiful that building is. It is about being BORN AGAIN it is about growing in the WORD OF GOD. It is about knowing and doing according to the WORD OF GOD. It is not showing up every now and then and being a Christian for Sunday morning nor is it being a Christian Sunday Morning, Night and Wednesday Night, is a 24/7,365 day a year thing.
It is about being the light to a darkened world it is about not hiding our Father or Jesus or even the Holy Spirit. It is not about who is right or wrong. None of us have it all right, none of us can live up to Your standards. Not even the Jews (Israelites) could. So Jesus was born and died so that we might live.
However, they want to argue what day He was born on. They want to argue about which denomination is right. Well I have the answer to that question NONE DO. Not one has it all right and it is time that we stop pointing fingers and become real Christians. Jesus is the only way to Heaven, period. It is not about how good one is or what denomination one attends it is about JESUS.
In the beginning Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. You Father created this world and everything in it and on it. You created the universe we live in and everything everywhere. Revelation 22:21 (MEV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. That is the last scripture of the Holy Bible.
Then man and all its glory find the lost scriptures and say there is more, excuse me do they honestly think that they are smarter than You? Do they think that You did not get it right 40 authors, 1,189 chapters 31,173 verses 807,361 words. Now the word count might be different in the type of Bible one is using
WHAT DO YOU THINK? We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who BELIEVE in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the PUNISHMENT that we DESERVE, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, “Jesus is Lord,” you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
My prayer today is about being a REAL Christian it is not about the 35,000 or so denomination it is about what Jesus did and what God gave. It is about does one honestly believe and trust in our God, our Lord, our Savior? Let’s become what we have been called to be. And start winning the lost! Amen!
