Fearing The Lord Do We Really Or Is It Lip Service
Fearing the Lord has it become another “sound good motto” or is it the real thing. I found this by accident looking for something else. I stopped and read it again, do we actually believe the words in the Bible or are we just giving the Lord lip service?
Isaiah 29:12-14 (MEV) 12 Then the book shall be delivered to him who is not learned, saying, “Read this, please.” And he shall say, “I cannot read.”
13 Therefore, the Lord said:
Because this people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is tradition by the precept of men,
14 therefore I will once again do a marvelous work among this people,
even a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.
Drawing Near Our Father This Way Is Not Drawing Near
Drawing to God with lip service and not ones heart and not having any fear of the Lord

Romans 10:8-10 (MEV) 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith that we preach: 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Salvation Is Not With The Mouth
It is in the heart and confessed with the mouth…
Is There Such A Thing Like This In Today’s World
The world is trying to remove God from every part of it. Does anyone think this is by accident?
In the 116th, 88% are Christian. This is Congress in 2019. Now using the Word of God what kind of Christians do we have running our Country? Some I am sure are honestly Christians and praying for help and answers. However I believe most are lip service christians. The 115th Congress was at was 91%
What I believe is going to happen in Congress, I do believe in spite of them is in verse 14 part B the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.
Our God will survive as will the honest and real Christians our Father will NOT be defeated!!!

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
