Forgiveness of sin is why our Lord came to earth as a man Jesus and died on that cross for all of us. It is up to us to accept or deny Him. Thus came this statement choose you this day who you will serve.

Acts 26:15-18 (MEV) 15 “I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’
“He said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness both of what you have seen and of what I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from your people and from the Gentiles to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Acts 15 Luke Asks A Question

Who are You Lord? The answer was I am Jesus the one you are persecuting.

Acts 16 Rise And Stand

For I have appeared to you for this purpose

What Purpose

to appoint you as a servant and a witness both of what you have seen and of what I will yet reveal to you.

Acts 17 To Deliver You

From your people and from the Gentiles to whom I now send you.

Acts 18 To Open Their Eyes

So they can be turned from darkness to light and deliver them from the powers of the enemy to God,

Why Open Their Eyes

So they can receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
