Freedom what is it?  Is it really free?  The word FREEDOM is thrown around today like it is the answer for everything.  People grab it and use it however the truth is FREEDOM is not free.  It costs someone somewhere sooner or later.

Galatians 5:13 (MEV)

You, brothers, have been called to liberty. Only do not use liberty to give an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Galatians 5:22-26 (MEV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 meekness, and self-control; against such there is no law. 24 Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be conceited, provoking one another and envying one another.

I Have Titled The Devotional Today

“Freedom, Is Free Only If You Serve The Only Living God” and I think as we go through it you will understand what is being said. Right off we see that we are called to be FREE.

We are free however not to do as we please not to get all wrapped up in worldly things. We are to serve ONE ANOTHER in LOVE…

Again this FREEDOM did not come free Jesus paid the ultimate price on that cross at Calvary.

Now I Think All Have Heard About

The fruit the bad tree and the good tree. So let us look at our fruits. Number ONE right between the eyes is LOVE then we see joy, peace and on and on.

How can we not have LOVE and say we are a Christian? How can we hate our neighbor after what Jesus did for us. How many Christians do you know that do not have JOY.

Worrying about this or that WORRY is NOT a fruit of the spirit. PEACE we are to be at ease with were we are God has us were we are for a reason so let us learn and move on, the list goes on and on. [l promise a teaching on all of these soon]

Let Us Spend These Next Few Days On LOVE.

We all have relatives and or friends that rub us the wrong way so let us work on this fruit of LOVE with them. Let us learn to LOVE were we are at.

God has us here for a reason. Let’s start praying and asking God why and then listen for the answer. I will end with this thought…

“A test is something one passed never having to take it again”. Lord let us learn so that we might move on.
