Fruitful Growth  Venturing Out Into A Sinful World

Fruitful Growth is my prayer today is for in our Faith as we venture out into this sinful world. Let us be the light in a dark and ungodly world. This was the verse of the day in Bible Gateway and I though it just went along so well with the morning prayer.

2 Peter 1:5-8 (NKJV) 5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Whatever one does today let it be in Gods will let it be led by the Holy Spirit. Let us bear good fruit and be a witness to the fact that we serve our Heavenly Father. Even our worse day is better than the best day for someone who is without our Lord and savior.

Today again we might just be the only Jesus someone sees. So be ready to tell how Jesus has helped you through many things and how you would like to have them meet Him right where they are.

I pray that this devotional is a helpful tool today for you and helps you grow closer to your Heavenly Father…
