1 Timothy 1:3-4 (NKJV) 3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.

As I read this I started thinking about all the DENOMINATIONS in the world some 35,000 and can hot help but wonder if that is not what Timothy was warning us about. He asked the ones he was talking to to stay in Ephesus and try to change the minds of some who are teaching other doctrines. Was it happening even back there in Jesus’ time? Yes I guess it was or at least in Timothy’s eyes.

I believe there are going to be a lot of people standing before God trying to explain why that mes-represented His words. How many have taken His word totally out of context to get their point across? I pray that I be told if I ever do such—I have always tried to be all the God, my Father, has called me to be and only write what I have been guided by the Holy Spirit to do.
