Gods Grace

2 Timothy 1: 7-9 (NIV) 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. 9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
As I read this is see Paul talking to Timothy and I hear the words echoing. We are no different we are saved by Gods GRACE by the Death of Jesus. It is very clear here that it is not because of anything we have done [and I might add] nothing we can do, it is because of Gods GRACE we are saved.
We were not given a timid spirit we were given the spirit of power, love and SELF-DISCIPLINE, we are not to be ashamed of who we are or who we serve. Gods GRACE is the reason Jesus came to earth, born of a virgin walked and NEVER sinned and DIED on a cross so that we, I will say it again, might LIVE through our Faith based on Gods GRACE toward us.
So let us stand tall as Christians and be what we are… Daughters and Sons of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are the children of the most powerful, the riches, the greatest Father there is so let us start being what we are.

I thank God for giving Jesus on the cross to save us and I thank God we dont have to earn our way because I would never make it!! ~~ I”m thankful for Jesus going to the cross except I hate he had to suffer and I cant imagine how awful it must have been. I:m thankful God is in control of my life!!` Thank you Lord God Father Jesus and Holy Spirit for all you have done for me!!!
